Solving UNI.on was born in 2019 from the joint project of the two managing partners. A strong combination of technical skills that complement each other.

Decades of experience in metal construction, automotive, pressure equipment, from welding to non-destructive testing, offers concrete solutions, available directly at the company headquarters or on construction sites all over the world.
Thanks to welding technologists, welding inspectors and second and third level non-destructive testings, Solving UNI.on offers a 360° certification for metalworking.
SOLVING UNI.ON AS A UNION
The position of the company is strategic. The headquarters are located in Emilia Romagna, the land of engines and much more: the food, agriculture and pharmaceutical sectors all rely on a tight collaboration with Liguria, the ‘shipyard’ region that’s the cradle of the best welding knowledge and expertise of the country.
Solving UNI.on has its own laboratory, equipped to perform all the mechanical tests required for the certification of metal structures.

ROBERTO PIVETTI
Born as a quality controller in the hydraulics sector, he grew up to become head of the quality department. Then he turned to the study and specialization of metallurgy and weldability of materials. He develops his skills by learning all welding technologies and all theoretical and practical techniques, holding training courses for large companies in all sectors, from piping to construction, from the food industry to the energy sector, nuclear and offshore. Finally, he returns to quality by offering consulting on welding quality management systems for the standards ISO 3834 and EN 1090.
MARCO MONEGO
My first professional experience was in the field of maintenance of ships, I’d perform inspections during operation and non-destructive inspections in the energy, steel and railroad industries, historical elements of the Genoese industry that have translated into a decade of expertise, analysis and knowledge.
The desire for growth and for something new has led me then to discover the beauty of teaching and to take care of the certification of the staff, of the special process approach and responsibility of experimentation, all on the great stage of Emilia-Romagna which naturally pushes you further and further.
But to really go further you have to know how to fly, so in 2018 I filled the tanks of Solving Uni.on with my twenty years of things, a great deal of spirit of initiative and deep passion.
