By expediting we mean the monitoring of production by suppliers with regard to the aspects of quality, packaging, compliance with standards and adherence to established deadlines.

WHY DO IT?

On-site processing provides a complete overview of order progress and allows corrective action to be taken by the supplier to address any issues. It can be performed for a specific order as well as for a general evaluation of the supplier.

Solving UNI.on’s “Expediting” service consists of sending a highly qualified inspector, knowledgeable in manufacturing regulations, to your supplier.

The purpose of the pre-arranged visit is to:

  • verify that the supplier’s capabilities are in accordance with those specified verify that the supplier meets the requirements of the technical delivery specifications (UNI EN ISO 1090, UNI EN ISO 3834)
  • verify the certification level of the welder qualifications (UNI EN ISO 15614)
  • verify the qualifications of the welders (UNI EN ISO 9606)
  • verify the qualifications of the personnel responsible for non-destructive testing (UNI EN ISO 9712)
  • check the manufacturing progress of the product
